Better For Your Life; Commodity Forex Online Trading As Your Investment Opportunity

Trading commodities can be a vital investment opportunity for a professional trader. But, in order to be successful, you must understand the true realities of the markets. You must learn how the professionals make money and what is possible in the market. Most traders come into commodity Forex online trading, lose a substantial portion of their capital and then leave trading without ever having a correct perception of what good trading is all about. Try to not make the same mistake.

Trading is about buying and selling commodities. A commodity is defined as an article of commerce or a product that can be used for commerce. In a narrow sense, it's a product traded on an authorized commodity exchange such as a stock exchange

or Forex online trading service. Some of the examples of popular commodities are: bonds, currency, energy, grains & oilseeds, interest rates & housing futures, livestock, metals, food fiber softs, nasdaq/dow, and s&p stock indexes.

Most beginning traders assume that the way to make money

in commodity Forex online trading is to learn how to predict its moves. They want to believe there is a high degree order to the markets and that prices move in non-trivial systematic ways. They think successful trading will result from highly effective methods of predicting future price direction. These traders have been researching the "secret" trading system that will give them an advantage since the markets started trading.

Using Chaos theory, mathematicians have conclusively shown that financial markets

, including commodities, are non-linear, dynamic systems. Such systems can produce random-looking results that are not truly random. Commodity market price movement is highly random with a small trend component. As chaos theory states, the markets are not efficient and are predictable only in the most general way. Trading in the markets is an odds game, and the object is always to keep the odds in your favor as accurately as possible.

Books on trading commodities often show a few well-chosen examples where a described prediction method previously worked. But none of these methods is tested consistently for many years and in numerous markets. Those researchers who have tested these methods have found that in the long run almost all of them fail. Do not rely on a particular trading method unless you see a detailed demonstration showing that it has worked for at least five to ten years in a variety of different markets using exactly the same rules.

The job of the person who wants to trade commodities rationally is to ignore the promises of those promoting 100% market prediction mechanisms and concentrate on finding and implementing a proven method that follows market trends. Successful trading does not require effective prediction mechanisms. Good trading involves following trends in a time frame where you can be profitable. If you follow trends with proper risk management methods in a trending market, you will make money in the long run. Try commodity Forex online trading yourself to see the results. Apple's 'magical' iPhone unveiled
US firm Apple has confirmed its move into the telecoms industry, unveiling the long-awaited iPhone.

Users will be able to download music and videos with the phone, demonstrated by Apple boss Steve Jobs at the annual Macworld Expo in San Francisco.

Mr Jobs praised the phone's design and told the audience the "magical device" would "revolutionise the industry".

The phone, which will cost from $499 (£257) to $599, will be launched in the US in June and Europe later this year.

Apple is not yet saying how much the iPhone will cost in the UK, but using the comparison of a Mac mini computer the 4 gigabyte (GB) model would be about £335.

Touch-screen

Also revealed at the Macworld Expo was Apple TV, a device to stream music and movies from a computer to the living room.

The announcement ended months of speculation about the iPhone, which has no conventional buttons but instead uses a large touch-screen.

The firm has patented keyboard technology on the 11.6mm thick phone, calling it "multi-touch".

It is essentially a computer with a blank screen that users configure so they can operate the monitor with their fingers.

"We are all born with the ultimate pointing device - our fingers - and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse," said Mr Jobs.

A full touch keyboard is available for text messaging and there is a built-in two megapixel camera.

Mr Jobs said the iPhone was a "revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of any other mobile phone".

"It works like magic... It's far more accurate than any touch display ever shipped. It ignores unintended touches. It's super-smart."

He demonstrated the phone by playing the Beatles' Lovely Rita, Meter Maid.

He added: "The iPod changed everything in 2001. We're going to do it again with the iPhone in 2007."

The phone will be available on the network of US mobile firm Cingular and will run Apple's OS X operating system.

It will come in two versions - one with 4GB of storage space, the other with 8GB.

Apple shares closed around 8% up after the announcement.

Fleming will make a wonderful Black Caps coach: Vettori

New Zealand’s captain and de facto coach Daniel Vettori believes former skipper Stephen Fleming would make a wonderful Black Caps coach.

Vettori will lead the team to the United Arab Emirates for a one-day and Twenty20 series against Pakistan as both captain and coach following Andy Moles’ decision on Saturday to step down as coach after a review process revealed he was ill-equipped to continue in the role.

With Moles not stepping up to the mark, Vettori has been effectively coaching the team for the past six months,

The Sunday Star-Times quoted Vettori as saying that he was happy to continue as player-coach for the next few months, including the home test series against Pakistan next month, but after that he would prefer to see someone come into the role.

“Stephen and I keep in regular contact and he’s been quite a big help in going through all this stuff and some other things that have gone on. He has concerns about my workload and he wants to be a sounding board and do anything he can to help,” Vettori said.

“He’s definitely got coach written all over him and he could be an extremely successful one; it’s just whether he wants to get back into that life of touring the world and in that regard it probably is too soon for him. But he would make a wonderful coach,” he added.

New Zealand Cricket chief executive Justin Vaughan, when asked if Fleming was a coach candidate, said: “I don’t think this is the right time.”

In the short-term manager Dave Currie will have his leadership responsibilities upgraded to help Vettori, while current assistant coach Mark O’Donnell will remain with the team, stuff.co.nz reports. (ANI)

AT first view, cricket looks somehow similar to baseball, with players batting a ball and trying to score as many runs as possible. The differences, however, are many. For starters, cricket is played with a flat bat, rather than a rounded one, and players do not run on a square to score a point, but instead run forward in an effort to reach the opposite end of the pitch. Sports digest: Keselowski holds off Kyle Busch in Memphis race

As he hit the final turn at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park, Brad Keselowski was loose, almost sideways, and trying to hold on as he reached the finish line.

Having Nationwide Series points leader Kyle Busch right on his rear bumper only added to the pressure.

"I was doing all I could do to stay in front of him," Keselowski said. "I thought I was going to wreck to be honest."

Keselowski was able to grab enough of his Chevrolet's steering wheel to hold on and beat Busch to the finish line Saturday, winning the Kroger on Track For The Cure 250.

The race on the ¾-mile oval came down to a green-white-checker finish after the 14th caution of the day on the final lap when Stephen Wallace spun after tangling with Matt Kenseth. Wallace banged into Kenseth's car after the race, and the two had words on pit road.

Busch finished second and leads Carl Edwards by 215 points in the standings.

  • ESPN broadcaster Bob Griese apologized at the end of Saturday's Ohio State-Minnesota football game for a remark he made about NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya.

Earlier in the telecast, during a promotion for coverage of NASCAR's Chase for the championship, a graphic listed the top five drivers in the points race. Fellow analyst Chris Spielman asked where was Montoya, who is Colombian. Griese replied that he was "out having a taco."

As the telecast was wrapping up, Griese, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Miami Dolphins quarterback, apologized for the remark and said that Montoya is one of the best drivers in NASCAR. In a statement released later, ESPN called the remark "inappropriate" and said Griese planned to apologize again later Saturday night during the network's college football coverage.

  • Timothy Peters took the lead when Denny Hamlin pitted on the 117th lap and won the NASCAR truck series race in Martinsville, Va.

Peters was doused with frigid water in victory lane after this first career win by points leader Ron Hornaday Jr. and others.

    College water polo

The No. 2-ranked Cal men (14-4, 2-1) scored eight of the match's final nine goals in roaring from behind to a 13-7 victory over No. 5-ranked Pepperdine (7-9, 1-3) in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match in Berkeley. Sophomore Luka Saponjics scored three goals for the Bears, and sophomore goalie Wil Toppen made 11 saves.

    College volleyball

The No. 6 Stanford women (13-5, 6-2 Pac-10 Conference) swept Arizona State 33-31, 25-21, 25-20 at home. Junior Alix Klineman posted 19 kills and added eight digs, freshman Hayley Spelman recorded a season-high 10 kills, and junior libero Gabi Ailes came up with 25 digs to drop the Sun Devils to 11-9 and 1-7 in the Pac-10.

  • Santa Clara won the first two games, then had to win the fifth to beat host Pepperdine 25-16, 25-18, 20-25, 17-25, 17-15. The Broncos are 13-9 overall, 3-4 in the West Coast Conference.

    Notebook: Transitions paramount at Martinsville

Martinsville Speedway may not be the fastest circuit in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series, but the abrupt transitions from accelerator to brake and back to accelerator make the .526-mile, minimally-banked short track (11 degrees in the turns) one of the most challenging.

"There are two concerns when you come to Martinsville for me," said Mike Ford, crew chief for Denny Hamlin, who has posted one victory and five other top-six finishes in his last six races at the paper-clip-shaped speedway. "(First is) making sure that your brakes are on the car all day. You have to finish the race.

"The second one is the drive off (the corner). It's the transitions here at Martinsville. You're not carrying a lot of speed through the corner but you need to accelerate hard, and you need to stop hard. The acceleration is put on my shoulders to determine. The brakes -- that work is done before you get here, so once you're here, you have what you have and you need to take care of it. It's a finicky balance. You want to go harder, but you also need to be smart about it."

Driver Jeff Gordon, a seven-time winner at Martinsville, said brake packages have improved dramatically in the last few years -- a good thing at a track where drivers use their brakes slightly more than a third each green-flag lap.

"They've come so, so far," Gordon said. "I think what's probably come further is the cooling, being able to keep them cool. It really has allowed us to not have to manage the brakes as we used to as much. If you're in the middle of the pack and you're running really hard you can still melt the bead or have some brake problems.

"(But) I've run this race before, every lap as hard as I could, and never even thought about trying to take care of the brakes and had no problem. That's something that didn't happen in the past. It's all the technology. It's the rotors, the caliper -- but I would say most of it is in the cooling."

    BUSCH: LEAD ISN'T INSURMOUNTABLE

Though he's fifth in the Cup standings, 177 points behind leader Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch hasn't given up on the prospect of a winning a second title to go with his 2004 championship, the first decided under the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup format.

"I had a (96)-point lead heading to Atlanta one year (2004) and blew a motor," Busch said. "That lead blew up in smoke. Anything can happen. I feel like where we are in points, 177 back, he's gained those on us these first five races. What's to say that we can't gain that back on him in the next five?"

    GRIESE APOLOGIZES FOR SLUR

During a promo for the Chase on ESPN's telecast of the Ohio State-Minnesota college football game, the network ran a list of the top five in the Cup standings.

The following exchange occurred during the broadcast: "Where's Juan Pablo Montoya?" asked analyst Chris Spielman, to which his broadcast partner, Bob Griese, replied, "He's out having a taco."

At the end of the telecast, approximately two hours after making the remark, Griese apologized for his slur against the Colombian driver.

"Juan Pablo Montoya, he's one of the best drivers in NASCAR -- just want to apologize for a comment I made earlier in the ballgame," he said.

Late Saturday afternoon, ESPN issued the following statement:

"During today's telecast of the Ohio State-Minnesota college football game on ESPN, analyst Bob Griese made an inappropriate comment when discussing NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya. Bob apologized during the telecast, and plans to apologize again (Saturday night) during ESPN's college football programming after his plane lands. ESPN has spoken to Bob and he understands that his comment was uncalled for."

Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, which fields the No. 42 Chevrolets driven by Montoya, chose not to comment on Griese's remarks.
